MUSIC MAKERS

Bang, crash, scream, squeak, blow, hoot, whisper, sing!

Maryanne offers a range of workshops for schools, conservatoria and theatres to shake, move and inspire students of all ages. Diving into the world of improvisation, imagination and creativity, groups will explore the infinite possibilities of sounds (with or without instruments), creating within a group context and letting individually defined limits go.

Our larger projects concentrating on integration through the arts, currently on offer to schools, theatres and also festivals, can be found at www.artpipes.net.

Get inspired, get moving, get listening...make some music!

PILLOW PROMS

The ultimate live experience for littlies & the young at heart...

Concerts introducing the world of jazz, world music and improvisation to younger audiences, with or without family accompaniment, in a relaxed, fun, participatory environement. Kids can either bring their own cushions, pillows, beanbags to the concert or these can be provided by the venue. Young audience members are welcome to take a closer look at the instruments and how they are played after the show. If engaged as part of a project or workshop week, pillow proms can be extended to include performances by young participants for their friends, family and other participants.
